New Grand Lisboa Hotel and Hip Hing Construction (Macau) Co. Ltd


A Project Information Management System (PIMS) with 210 users will be implemented for New Grand Lisboa Hotel c/o Hip Hing Construction (Macau) Co. Ltd. This solution is based on Wincas award winning solution eProjectDM, the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) solution specifically tailored for the Architect / Construction industry.

PIMS will be used to file drawings, documents and CD-ROM content correctly, and allow users to retrieve document in a easy and fast way. These users can share project knowledge effectively and efficiently. In order to streamline workflow and increase process transparency, PIMS is integrated with electronic forms with document attachment capability to make various manual submissions and review process less dependent on manual handling and physical means.

PIMS saves time and cost in terms of filing, retrieval, and archiving of documents. A project archiving function will also be provided in PIMS in order to safeguard authorized access and searching in historical documents.

The project deployment involves setting up a powerful Dual CPU Domino server that is installed with various software components. Electronic copies will be structurally stored in logical document tree (cabinets, drawers, folders). Users with security rights can access to their authorized folders anywhere, anytime with a web browser such as Internet Explorer. The system runs on a per user bases. If the expansion of the system is needed in the future, the only investment will only be the Client Access License.

User can submit correspondence, photos and create relationship to link all these information together. Wincas Tech is experienced in implementing this scale of DMS project in the construction project environment. Wincas will provide hardware and software, planning, design, implementation and support for the DMS system. Wincas can also provide additional customizations to tailor the system for customer requirements.
